Dr. Roger joined University at Buffalo Neurosurgery in the summer of 2006, after completing a 2-year fellowship in spinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute, and further training at the Montreal Neurological Institute. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, for which he is board certified in neurosurgery.
Currently, Dr. Roger's clinical practice is focused on spinal diseases of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions. He has special expertise in minimally invasive technologies and advanced spinal instrumentation.
Dr. Roger is the director of spine clinical outcomes at UBNS. His research interests include tracking patient outcomes for both surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities. He is highly vested in the training and education of neurosurgery residents and medical students.
