Dr. Budny attended medical school and completed his residency training in neurosurgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He obtained his fellowship training in neurovascular surgery at the University of Western Ontario, and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Budny was an investigator in the bypass and NASCET studies. Clinically, his interests lie in the areas of cerebrovascular, neuroendocrine, and CT-guided stereotactic neurosurgery. Dr. Budny currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserve.
